For a conference or function to be successful, it must run smoothly, from initial planing to implementation. Our staff are sensitive to the needs of organisers, and we know that a quick and efficient response to any request can be crucial to the final outcome.

Click here to download a PDF. Doherty Ballarat Lodge specialises in conference and functions, and together with our professional experience, we offer a choice of 12 versatile rooms of varying sizes which can be configured to suit most requirements.

Our main conference rooms have PA systems, overhead projectors, screens, whiteboards, flipcharts, lecterns and portable staging. Any further audio-visual requirements can be arranged by our Conference Co-ordinator.

Most of the function rooms have natural light and all feature indepenently-controlled heating and air-conditioning. Our Business Centre is equipped with a computer and printing facilities, access to e-mail, faxing, photocopying and secretarial services. We can also assist with specialist training and motivational programs, activities, room decorations, theme nights, or the staging of an event.

Doherty Ballarat Lodge’s spacious grounds make it the perfect retreat for delegates who want to relax without having to leave the hotel ­ stroll through the gardens, along tree-lined pathways, through the Hidden Garden and beside the creek and lake.

Accommodation Services

Doherty Ballarat Lodge’s 71 rooms have been designed with the corporate market in mind. The rooms are furnished in a style which reflects our rustic heritage, featuring luxurious leather armchairs and important conveniences such as writing desks, work lamps and modem jacks.
